Structure Characteristic and Working Principle of Bimetallic Thermometer
Bimetallic thermometer is a kind of thermosensitive element which is made of hot bimetallic sheet wound into screw thread and installed in protective sleeve. One end is fixed (fixed end), the other end (free end) is connected to a thin shaft, and the axle end is equipped with a pointer..
When the temperature changes, the free end of the temperature sensor rotates immediately, so that the fine axis drives the pointer to produce angular displacement, indicating the temperature change on the scale plate; the straight meter drives the pointer through the steering transmission mechanism.
Because the temperature sensor has a linear relationship with the temperature change, the position indicated by the bimetallic thermometer pointer is the measured temperature value.
Case material includes steel plate, cast alloy, stainless steel plate; detection element also has core-pulling structure; the head part of adjustable angle thermometer can be changed from angle type to straight type or from right type to angle type with the help of bellows and rotary mechanism
