In the year 2000, a time filled with both opportunities and challenges in the professional world, Bill Du took his first step into the instrumentation industry. At that time, he was merely a lathe apprentice. Despite holding what seemed to be an ordinary position, he possessed an extraordinary ambition, always striving for self-improvement and breakthroughs.


When the company organized its first English training program, Bill Du’s name was not initially on the list. However, his strong desire for knowledge drove him to approach the management, earnestly expressing his determination to participate—even if it meant covering the expenses himself. At the time, English seemed irrelevant to his daily lathe work, but he had a long-term vision. He understood the importance of language skills in the broader professional landscape. From then on, every morning at around 5 AM, before the city awoke, he dedicated himself to learning English—memorizing vocabulary, reciting texts—persisting day after day without interruption.


Opportunities always favor those who are prepared. Not long after, as the company expanded its business, the foreign trade department urgently needed talent. With his solid English foundation and proactive attitude, Bill Du successfully transitioned into a foreign trade salesperson, embarking on his sales journey.


Entering the sales field came with numerous challenges. However, with an unyielding determination, he quickly immersed himself in the work. His daily working hours exceeded ten, and he often stayed up until 2 AM just to promptly respond to client emails. To deeply understand customer needs and accurately grasp market trends, Bill Du frequently traveled across various regions. He attended international exhibitions in Morocco, where he proactively introduced the company’s products to global clients, patiently answering their every question and seizing every potential cooperation opportunity. His efforts successfully opened a window for the company in the international market. Additionally, he regularly participated in the Canton Fair in Guangzhou, China’s largest trade event, tirelessly navigating through exhibition booths to seek new business opportunities and uncover potential partners. Through these efforts, he brought back valuable market insights and promising cooperation prospects.


During client visits, Bill Du always prioritized customer feedback on product quality. On one occasion, an important client suggested an improvement to a specific product detail. Recognizing that this was not only about satisfying one customer but also about enhancing the overall competitiveness of the product line, he immediately took action upon returning to the company. He coordinated communication between the sales, R&D, and production teams, clearly conveying the client’s requirements and closely following up on the development and implementation of an improvement plan. Through the joint efforts of multiple departments, the company not only resolved the client’s concerns but also further optimized the product’s performance. This achievement earned high praise from the client and led to a surge in follow-up orders.


Some people around him once questioned his work ethic, believing he was overly persistent—perhaps even a bit "stubborn." However, Bill Du never wavered. He firmly believed that as long as he remained steadfast and advanced step by step, success would inevitably follow. Time has proven him right. From a novice foreign trade salesperson to his current role as the company’s sales manager, Bill Du has devoted 25 years to the instrumentation industry. Over this quarter-century, he has witnessed the company’s growth and, through his own relentless efforts, has become a pillar of the organization.
